What is JTags? JTags is a Joomla! Extension for adding keywords (tags) to Joomla! Content. What is it for? The general project idea is to enable users inserting specific labels to tag any Joomla! content. Some time ago I was browsing some site and looked for articles related to “iPhone”. Unfortunately I was forced to browse every page and stare at text just focused to find requested label. I guess many of you was at the similar situation, so you know how it is tiring and frustrating. If only I could just select/type “iPhone” tag, I would find requested articles just in eye blink.

Google Weather Module – AJAX version
This module makes use of the Google Weather API to display the current temperature, weather condition and a four-day weather forecast, as you can see on the left of the page. This is the first, and currently the only weather module with the following features: * Uses the Google Weather API that provides 4-day weather forecast with images. * Allows user to interactively enter zip codes (for US, UK and Canada) and city names. * Displays the weather information in many different languages, as provided by Google. * Allows you to display two or more weather modules in the same page. * Supports both Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5! * You can turn on or off the input field. * You can specify the default unit for the temperature (in °C or °F) * You can switch between °C or °F interactively with no reloading of pages. Latest Version ============== v1.0.1 (for Joomla 1.0) and v1.5.1 (for Joomla 1.5) Released October 6, 2009 Streamlined the javascript codes. Very Important ============== * I’ve implemented the Google Weather Mashup with the use of PHP’s cURL library. So please make sure your PHP has the cURL library installed in order to use this module. * Note that this module works only with PHP5 and above because of the use of the PHP function simplexml_load_string which is only available starting with PHP5.

AJ Article listing
AJ Article listing is an extended version of Section to categories drop-down menu originally by Vladimir Ivanov & Kulendra. The module lists all articles in a chosen section/category by using two drop-down menus. We added module parameters for Section Drop-down label, Category Drop-down label, Button label and JS Message, if no choice was done. Added option to hide sections and sort sections by id, title or order – ascending or descending. Added module class-suffix, for individual module styling. Credits to Luis Murcia who fixed some original JavaScript errors. Installs like any other Joomla module. 1. In the first drop-down there is a list of all Joomla content sections. Option to hide and sort sections in the module parameters. 2. When you choose the section, the second drop-down loads the categories of the chosen section. 3. To allow some formatting to the result page, there is a module parameter called “Linked menu”. You have to create a “category blog” menu item and set-up it parameters, or use an existing. This menu item “id” you have to put in mod_aj_article_listing “Linked Menu” parameter field. This controls the way articles are listed, 1 or 2 columns etc. * Version 2.5: Added Horizontal or Vertical layout

Community Polls
GoogleMap Light
This light version is free to download, and does not require subscription to the site. The light version will be sufficient for the majority, but for those who needs modules/plugins/extra functionality and support, this will not be enough. The light version is basically a slimmed down version 1.0.2. This Light version will not be updated, and support will be handled with low priority. This does however not mean that I will not help you. Feel free to ask questions, if you encounter any problems. The GoogleMap Light will not have documentation nor video tutorials. So if you feel that you need help, look through the forum for it.
