IDoPDA — а script that allows you to create a mobile version (PDA) of your Joomla! site. Create a PDA-version of your site is easier than you think! Most of the components for creating a PDA-version of the site have 2 problems. First, you can not create a PDA-version on the third level domain (pda.mysite.com). Secondly, the result works crookedly in most cases. To solve these problems, IDoPDA uses a direct data reading from the database. In other words, IDoPDA processes data base of your site and displays them in a PDA-oriented format in the subdomain 3-level type pda.yoursite.com. IDoPDA main options: ================= Settings in the admin panel: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Main * Site title * Site logo * Number of the displayed material on page * Http address of the main site, for the correct pictures parsing Configuring databases * Host * User * Password * Database Name * Joomla! table prefix (jos_ by default) Custom Settings menu * A list of all menu items selected will be displays to vizitors Template and language file ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Template * CSS-styles are located in the template * Language file can be written in any language Thought on the future ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * Selecting site templates settings in Admin Panel * Select the language file for the PDA-site in Admin Panel * User authorization using account from the main site * Article access right level based on standart Joomla! access right. A few simple steps to create a PDA-version of your site ======================================== 1. Download the script IDoPDA for “Joomla!” Or “Wordpress”. 2. Make a 3rd level subdomain on your site — pda.yoursite.com (or any you will wish). 3. Unpack the archive with the script in the 3rd level domain root folder. 4. Go to the subdomain from a desktop or a portable device (when you first start you’ll be taken to install page). 5. Enter the data: the site title, URL of the site, the data for access to the database, the count of articles for the main page. 6. (Only for “Joomla”) Set alowed for browsing content. 7. Upload logo. That’s all. PDA-version of your site is ready

(Multi Sprachenunicode Unterstützung für Joomla DB) ist Joomla Unterstützung der mehrfachen Sprachen ein Traum kommen zutreffend für jedes nicht-Englisch sprechende Einzelpersonen. Es gibt ein Problem zwar, das den Verstand von Webmasters besetzt, wenn sie eine unicode Textweb site auf einigen Bedienern handhaben, die ursprünglich nicht unicode Tabellen im mysql stützen. Ist hier, wenn Realtyna DB-Verlegenheit handlich kommt. Sie regelt das Problem des Darstellens? (Fragezeichen) anstelle vom Eingangstext mit gerade einem einzelnen Klicken.
