The hwdVideoShare video sharing gallery is an open source (GNU GPL) video sharing Joomla extension that functions like that of other popular video sharing websites such as YouTube. It features multiple uploading tools for large media uploads. The component requires FFMPEG, MENCODER and FLVTOOL2 to run and supports the mpg, mpeg, avi, divx, mp4, flv, wmv, rm, mov, moov, asf, swf and vob video formats. Videos from third party sources such as Youtube.com, Video.google.com, Blip.tv, DailyMotion.com, Jumpcut.com, Gametrailers.com, Revver.com and Vimeo.com are also supported. These third party videos slot seamlessly into the component with the rest of the uploaded media, and in most cases these videos can be played through the local video player. The component features a plugin management system for template, language, video player and third party video support. Users can interact with the video pages without disturbing the video playback. They can rate, comment, report and add videos to their favourites. We have also worked with JomSocial to produce a fully integrated video plugin for their social networking component. Display video directly on users’ JomSocial profile pages. The hwdVideoShare component is part of the hwdMediaShare package created by Highwood Design, which also includes hwdPhotoShare and hwdRevenueManager. hwdRevenueManager can be used to manage text, image and video adverts in hwdVideoShare. DT Donate is the first pure donation component for Joomla that uses the Authorize.net payment gateway. You can make ARB Recurring Billing payments or also use ECheck (if those items are enabled in your authorize.net account). DT Donate also includes the option to pay with PayPal, onetime or recurring. In the admin, you insert your authorize.net login ID and transaction key and/or PayPal email address. You can also customize an instructional message that appears before the donation form as well as the “thank you” email that the donator receives. You can also setup CUSTOM FIELDS for your payment form, which can be any type of form input field. The entire donation process takes place within your own website which looks very professional. You can also generate a CSV export of all donation records. We recommend that you setup a SSL certificate for your domain so the transactions are secure. SimplyLinks allows you to configure keywords that will be auto-converted into hyperlinks when they appear in Joomla article content. Links can be configured to auto-link to an internal article, an external link address, or to pop-up as a glossary link. New for Version 2.0: 1) Article selection button instead of requirement to use “article id” number. 2) Admin parameter to control whether auto-link applies to first instance or all instances of a keyword in article content. 3) Admin parameter to control whether graphic image appears next to generated links, or not. 4) Simpler single step installation — component and plugin installed at same time.
